Abstract

The so-called method of “pronominal perspectivism” analyzes the ethical problems according to
the different points of view that are expressed there, and that can be related to the logic of the
personal pronouns: I, You, He, etc. Ethics is then no longer to be understood as a catalog of rules to
be applied, but as a practice of mediation between the different points of view that are brought to
express themselves, on the background of shared values. Mediation thus provides a certain “ethical
quality” for interpersonal relationships. Our text submits the method, the ethics of perspectivism, to
the test of the realities of the enterprise, as we have experienced it.
