Abstract

Contemporary approaches of industrial management such as lean management face analyses that are limited
to efficiency or reversely to negative consequences. A responsible approach of health at work rather leads to
understand precisely what is negative and how that may be moderated. A case study of an automobile industry sub-contractor shows that the necessary regulations are not settled and that natural regulations are prevented. The article invites to a more subtile analysis of contemporary production or organization modes where
management and communication are at the center of the observation.
