Abstract

This article proposes to discuss the effectiveness of a standardized regulation on Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) through the strengths and limitations of standardization and specificities of the CSR. Our
study is focuses on the ISO 26000 standard draft which aims at building an international consensus around
the concept of Social Responsibility.
