Abstract

many firms transform their strategy processes and,
for that, include middle managers into it. How does
this inclusion transform roles systems and how do
these managers, transforming their roles, reconstruct
their personal commitment towards their firm? For
that, we need to better understand strategy process
transformation and their specific organizational
mechanisms but also we have to analyze specific
processes and mechanisms of the social fabric of
commitment. We show here that two strategic
transforming mechanisms can be distinguished. The
first one, so called strategic “stage”, presents a high
potential of roles transformation, if some critical
conditions are filled. The second one, so called
“platform”, presents a high potential of management
transformation, of identity rebuilding and
commitment fabric, if some specific critical
conditions are carried out
