aTIH studies of the pricing systems

aTiH presents some flagship studies of models of finance for the health sector. in medicine, surgery, obstetrics (MCo), ten years after its implementation, T2amust be optimised to take into account certain particular situations. Thus, the agency intervenes, along with a service provider, on issues of isolated hospitals and local community hospitals. What matters is finding an appropriate funding model. The decrease in the length of stay should lead to finding new discriminating variables of costs to fine-tune the prices. This research is being carried out in the context of technical groups (care load, unplanned stays) in association with the players (hospital federations, hospitals …). The system of funding should also ensure the spread of good practices (such as outpatient care) and promote the quality of care (setting up a financial incentive for improving the quality). in partnership with Has, the aTiH develops technical tools to measure the quality of care and calculate the amount of the financial incentive. in ssR (follow-up care and rehabilitation), Had (home care) and psychiatry, the agency has a rôle in equipping the players to make the finance models evolve. Two types of tool are developed: description of the activity via the medico-economic classification and knowledge of the costs via the national study of costs set up in ssR and Had since 2011.
