The lack of attractiveness of "elderly care professions", whether in establishments or home-based care services, is now clearly identified. Poor working and employment conditions are widely documented. Among these, the weakness of the work collectives is more rarely highlighted. This contribution, based on quantitative data from the 2016 RPS survey and above all from a qualitative survey (40 interviews) carried out within nursing homes and home-based care services, thus aims to recall the specific fragility of work groups in these professions. The next step is to highlight the diversity and importance of the roles that the work group may be called upon to play. Finally, we seek to highlight the emergence of two different visions of what can or could be a working group in this field. These guidelines nevertheless require multiple resources that are difficult to mobilize in the current context of old age policies
