"Full but not Fool in English"
Abstract
In 1996, the SIM review was born and,
among the articles that were going to be the
first to be published, one was co-authored
by Robert Zmud and Vikki Saga. Our American colleagues naturally had
written and submitted their research in English.
After being evaluated and accepted, the text
was translated into French under the title "Introduction of management software in
small businesses related to a profession
liberal ”. 20 years later, the SIM magazine
publishes its first issue where all
articles were submitted and published in English1
. The context has therefore changed ...
If in 1996, the aim was to facilitate the assimilation of Anglo-Saxon research to
the then emerging French-speaking SI community, the objective today is to ensure
greater dissemination of his writings.
This quest for scientific influence
has fueled much debate and controversy about research alignment
French-speaking to academic standards
International in Management Sciences
(the question of the English language not being
besides that one of these standards)
