Psychological variables mediated by serious games in insertion and training

This article presents a state of the art on the link between serious games and psychological variables, and their influence on social outcomes. It puts into perspective various research works on games and their evolution in the world of work, while analyzing their impact on learning and on the behavior of jobseekers. Finally, it highlights the catalytic effects of serious games in a situation of integration or training. The research perspectives induced by this paper are the gamification of job search devices and the introduction of a new “psycho-socio-professional” notion in coaching.
