Abstract

Actor Network Theory highlights the importance of the actors adjustment in an open-plan network for the production of innovations. This article is the result of questions about whether or not the translation exists in a regulated environment, a priori contrary to the emergence of leeway for stakeholders of the project. The research is based on the case of the introduction of the agreement of proper use of medicines in health facilities to identify moments of translation and controversies of the project, deploying a methodological device combining field data collection and a reflexive process in the laboratory. Institutions results attest to the success of the introduction of the agreement of proper use of medicines in institutions. The regulatory environment does not prevent neither the emergence of moments of translation nor controversies, that does not jeopardize the project.
