Abstract

Chief happiness officers : the new information and communication technologies at the service of happiness at work. In an empirical approach which aims to produce a new scientific knowledge in the field of Information and Communication Sciences, and by refering to a qualitative and quantitative survey of 60 french Chief Happiness Officers (CHO) conducted online via the professional digital social network LinkedIn, the purpose of our contribution is to analyze the communication strategies and interactionist concepts implemented by the CHOs to measure and improve their collaborators’ wellbeing at work, and to study in which circumstances the use of ICTs ultimately contributes to their own «happiness at work».
