Abstract

This research proposes to linger over the role of human intelligence at work in a complex and increasingly digital world. It is based on a study of the prospective digital transformation of higher education activity in a university context. By mobilizing activity theory, it apprehends the role of professional intelligence. It asks the following question: how can professional intelligence support the digital transformation of teaching activity in higher education? To answer this question, a study was conducted using the Q Method and a profile analysis in two situational contexts. The results highlight the role of the collective in the transformation of the activity, as well as the role of professional intelligence as a lever for adapting and conceptualizing an activity in technological cooperation.
