Abstract

While most Maghreb countries have constitutional courts since the 1990s, the effectiveness
of the latter remained limited overall. Arab spring will allow to accelerate standardization,
these courts tending the same movement to comply with the new international standards,
both regarding their status, their powers and their ability to impose their decisions.
