Abstract

After the troubles of the “Arab spring”, in 2011, Bahrain has to face tensions between his
Sunni monarchy and his Shia opposition. His Constitution can allow a real dialogue, even if
it remains unbalanced in favour of the monarchy. But the geopolitical intrigues of powerful
neighbours and the internal identies tensions could rase a rich national history
