Abstract

In all countries, the issue of women’s access to decision-making positions arises, and the proportion of women in management positions is an indicator for measuring sustainable development Goals. In Morocco, women in leadership positions represent less than 15%, and the outcomes of policies are mixed. This article reviews the main components of the glass ceiling in the literature, each of which is illustrated by a study conducted with a sample of 360 Moroccan women managers. The results show that the glass ceiling remains and breaking it requires new ways of thinking.
