Abstract

The Man-Machine Organization of Automated Corporate Communication in Capitalism: The Case of Chatbots. Big Data lead companies to automate their communication for their customers or employees. From empirical investigations we will first examine the strategies of new entrants in this market of conversational robots and their places in the dynamics of capitalism. Then, we will study the consequences of these strategies on organizational communication. Emphasis is placed on the role of the human being in the development of these devices, the story-telling supporting the renewal of relations with the public, as well as the hybrid forms of work (employees / artificial intelligence) not calling into question an industrial organization of the conversation.
