Abstract

The rheometers technological development aimed, essentially,the complete rheological characterization allowing acharacterization of workability without the need for empiricaltests. On the other hand, the use of a rheometer on building siteis a very complex operation. In addition to traditional empiricalmeans, in our study we used another means of rheologicalcharacterization: it is the flow of the concrete in a V-Funnelcoupled to a horizontal channel Plexiglas.The main objective of this article is to propose, for a SCC, acorrelation between plastic viscosity and properties ofworkability such as the flow time in a V-Funnel and thegeometrical parameters of the flow profile, while using charts.
