Abstract

The objective of this paper is to study the durability andcorrosion of rice husks concrete in chemically aggressiveenvironments. The study involved conducting specimens ofrice husks concrete which are preserved in seawater, waterdrilling, solutions of copper sulfate and sodium sulfate ofnormality 0.1N, 0.3 N and 0.5N, and in distilled watersolution which was used as control. The study revealed thatassists in sea water and in the water drilling, a slightcorrosion who does not affect significantly the mass ofconcrete; in addition, the concentrations of solutions ofsodium sulfate and copper sulfate are insufficient to causecorrosion of rice husks concrete.
