ON THE EROSION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE SAILS

Abstract

The study focuses on the erosion of reinforced concretewalls. The study is conducted on a real site, whose build-ings were made in the 70s. The buildings have specialarchitectural forms with inclined walls (Oscar Niemeyerarchitect). Over the years, panels of unprotected wallshave been eroded by the action of rainfall and comparedwith protected panels not exposed to rain. The study brings up the harmful effect of flowing erosionon the sustainability of reinforced concrete structures.
