DETECTION AND IDENTIFICATION OF CRACKING IN CONCRETE BY ACOUSTIC EMISSIONS
Abstract
We present an experimental study of fracture propertiesevolution of different concrete specimens subjected tobending tests. In parallel, we used the acoustic emissiontechnique (AE) to check the crack progress to failure. Aquantitative signal analysis is proposed to follow this evo-lution according to the acoustic activity variation withtime, so our experimental results will be presented.
