THE PASSIVE CABINETS OF THE SOLSSABLO-BENTONITIC

Abstract

The achievement of landfills site requiers the installation of theimpermeable liner. The materials used are clayey soils having avery low permeability “< 10-9m/s”, and able to retain lechateswhich circulate towards the groundwater. Experimental studieshave been performed on sand bentonit mixtures in replacementof clay soils which is difficult to compact. Moreover, we study onthe laboratory the diffusive behaviour through columns of sandbentonite mixture by the evaluation of the profiles ofconcentration in time and space.
