CONTRIBUTION OF THE MEDICO-LEGAL AUTOPSY IN DEATHS IN A CONTEXT OF LIGHT VIOLENCE

Abstract

Death from violence is commun worldwide. However, few studies have raised the medico-legal problems encountered in the deaths in the context of light violence. We report three cases of death in a context of light violence and we expose the forensic approach adopted to determine the cause of death in this context. Thus, only a meticulous forensic examination of the deceased (meticulous external examination, complete and rigorous autopsy, complementary investigations and study of the facts) allows forensic pathologists to determine the cause of death and to establish the causal link between the violence and the death.
