Chapitre 4. How sufficient are the ethics committees? Results of a pilot study in Turkey

Resumen

Present position of 49 ethics committees in the country was studied. A questionnaire developed by the European Council in 1997 is translated and used for the data collection. This data is discussed under the headings of structural and functional aspects. Findings indicate that the ethics committees have major differences between them.
