Abstract

This article aims to understand and analyse the various ways of looking at the notion of health.
It shows the interest of revealing the variety of meanings covered by this notion which is at the heart of relations established between the various social actors in a given society.
Inequality in health, healthcare policies that fluctuate according to the situation and the interests of the social groups involved, profane logic in healthcare, are all dimensions to take into account in understanding the diverse significance of the notion of health.
