The conference showed that bioethics currently represents such a vast field that it nolonger has any temporal, spatial or material boundaries. it gives rise to differentapproaches, either global or sectoral, none of which is sufficient to resolve theproblems raised as these remain highly sensitive both from a political and a legalstandpoint.
