The Inserm Ethics Committee, the Mérieux Foundation and the Global Forum on Bioethics in Research (GFBR) met during a workshop held on November 5, 2015 at Les Pensières, in Annecy (France) , more than thirty scientists and ethicists from more than twenty countries, with the aim of reflecting on how to allow better sharing of data and biological samples collected during trials conducted in countries with limited resources.
