Abstract

Our thinking is part of an exploratory and ethical approach, aimed at positioning technosocial risks (TSRs) within an information-communication-based and responsible approach. The aim is to show how the standardised use of ICT within organisations and its many avatars (hyperconnectivity, information overload, omnipresence, etc.) can have a negative impact on employees in the workplace, given that ICT plays a central role in the performance of their duties. In line with critical work on the organisation of work in particular, a genealogy of digital risks will be discussed here, with a view to assessing the intensity of employees’ exposure to technosocial risks, visible symptoms of technological exhaustion among certain employees, managers or organisation leaders.
