Abstract

The Encyclopaedia of Change (Eccap), founded in 2017 by Guy Roustang, is a digital platform dedicated to documenting alternatives for social, ecological and democratic transition. It aims to structure theoretical knowledge, share experiences and support the dynamics of change. Faced with contemporary crises and fragmented responses, Eccap seeks to highlight existing solutions and promote their coordination. Inspired by the solidarity economy, it offers reliable, contextualised and pluralistic content, while remaining rooted in physical spaces for debate and experimentation. In collaboration with the libriste movement, Eccap is evolving towards a digital commons based on sharing, co-construction and interoperability. This project embodies an ethical and political approach, aiming to politicise the digital world and build a collective space at the service of necessary transitions.
