This text leads to an original theoretical proposal aimed at conceptualizing a sustainable and democratic economy: deliberalism. It is the fruit of longitudinal empirical research aimed at demonstrating that the SSE is teeming with local initiatives that play a full part in achieving the goals of sustainable development (SDGs). In this contribution, we will focus on four objectives. The first two are aimed at building an inclusive society: eradicating poverty and reducing inequalities (part two). The other two contribute to building a sustainable society: decent work and sustainable growth; responsible consumption and production (part three). Before addressing
these two points, we will first clarify the theoretical and methodological framework of our research.
