Abstract

Our article is based on the study of
a health promotion project in the workplace. We
argue that the implementation of this project is like
a re-actualization of Foucault’s souci de soi in the
workplace. Our study shows the originality of the
communicative dynamics established by the project
team in establishing a game of injunctions that
aim employees’ personal and collective responsibilities. This dynamic links the anthropological and
organizational dimensions of the health promotion
project. In turn, this ambivalence gives employees
the opportunity to reorder the project initiated by
the organization and revaluate the individual changes
encouraged by the project team.
