Twenty years not in vain

Abstract

In 1996, the Information and
Management was not the annual conference as we know it today. The scientific association entered its fifth year of existence
and endeavored to bring together French-speaking researchers in Information System to enable them to share and debate elsewhere than in
conferences or presentations
were, at best, locked into a dedicated session. This
nascent community found there
a place of co-construction of meaning and
legitimization of its own discipline
