When affiliation rhymes with internationalization

Abstract

In the previous SIM number,
you may have noticed that the English version of the newspaper's name now appears: French
Journal of Management Information
Systems; which foreshadowed that
strategic actions of openness to
international were underway. On the
cover of this new issue,
your eyes have certainly been caught
by the presence of a new logo.
This is one of the major illustrations of the internationalization policy since, since June,
SIM is now an affiliated journal of
the Association for Information Systems
(see: http://aisel.aisnet.org/sim). For
most of you, this logo evokes
certainly conferences and reviews
of references that feed your academic reading and to which you
submit some of your writing. But
that she organization is hiding behind
this logo and what does this affiliation represent?
