Abstract

Psychological accompaniment at the end of life is a clinical skill that combines somatic and psychological needs and temporalities in a global, interdisciplinary approach of the subject and his or her suffering. This period often presents itself as a time of suspension in life, frightening and unpredictable, but also paradoxically conducive to mental reorganization, opening up new perspectives on our life histories, provided that the emotional bond is supported.
