This paper examines the way in which French law attempts to reconcile, with regard to the reproductive health of minors, the opposing tendencies of, on the one hand, the protection of the child by the holders of parental authority, which may lead them to take a decision in spite of the child, and, on the other hand, the increasing autonomy of the minor, which is developing at the expense of the scope of action of holders of parental authority.
