HOW TO APPLY FOR A MILITARY DISABILITY PENSION

Abstract

The military disability pension (PMI) compensates for functional incapacity, permanent pain, loss of quality of life and disturbances in the victim's living conditions, as well as loss of income and professional impact. The PMI application process begins with an administrative phase, followed by a medical assessment phase. The PMI application is processed by the Service des Pensions et des Risques Professionnels (SPRP), which, at least initially, must be made online via the Maison des blessés website. Victims can then choose whether to fill in the application form online or print it out and send it in.
