Abstract

Pathological confinement, or voluntary home confinement, is currently experiencing renewed interest. This trouble has no diagnostic specicity and can be observed in different mental disorders. is article proposes a narrative review of the different clinical situations, involving psychotic pathologies, anxiety disorders, dementia, hikikomori or the classic Diogenes syndrome.
