Abstract

High-speed internet, online platforms, smartphones and digitization have challenged audiovisual companies and telecommunications. These disruptive technologies have impacted all the value chain of these industries, removing or recombining long established players and facilitating the emergence of new business segments such as pay TV and video on demand.
