The archives of the Association for the Defense of the Environment and the Fight Against Pollution in the Lorraine Coal Basin: the ecological struggle in “Sevesoland” (1973-2023)

Abstract

In Lorraine, coal mining is accompanied by a coal and oil processing industry that generates pollution. In addition to company records and union archives, the archives of the Association for the Defense of the Environment and the Fight Against Pollution in the Lorraine Coal Basin (Adelp) provide insight into the evolution of these facilities and how they are perceived by the population.
