THE SCALES DISABILITY OF OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS AND DISEASES

They are specific compared to the general law scales disability, especially the scale published by the periodical
Concours Médical. This peculiarity is related to the flatrate aspect of occupational accidents and diseases compensation and to the fact that disability is valued with
respect to the work capacity generated. In this situation,
a 100% PPD (permanent partial disability) rating
equals a total work incapacity whereas a 100% PPD
rating in general law is equal to death.
