The “media monitoring” of the radio and television’s programs became an essential preoccupation for the principal decision makers of the world of economics, politics and the administrations. To know “which said what”, and how, about oneself or a compagny, on the audio-visual waves, is now an indisputable need. This paper, intended primarily for the “communication’s strategists” of the political world, explores initially the need for a politician to supervising his image in the context of a media world prompt to disparage its activity, then made a panorama of the sector of “media monitoring”, and its future.
