Abstract

This paper shows how social media and artificial intelligence are both a threat and an opportunity for the justice system as an organization. On the one hand, they subvert state legal pillar, marginalize traditional jurisdictions and alienate litigants. On the other hand, they foster a new judicial communication paradigm with public relations postulates. Their strategic planning, ranging from diffusionist to deliberative purposes, guides judges in their personal and professional uses. Therefore, they contribute to a new judicial legitimacy based not only on legality, but also on the sociability and sociality of the actors in the judicial system.
