Abstract

The researcher is a witness of his paradigmatic era, as Thomas suggests to us.
S Kuhn: "Paradigms, that is, the universally recognized scientific discoveries which,
for a time, provide a community of researchers with typical problems and solutions ”
(Kuhn, 1983, 11). He cannot completely extract his research from the circumstances in which
they are carried out. He is a contributor of his time, a flower of a disciplinary anthology which,
in what interests us, undoubtedly suffers from not being sufficiently formalized. The sciences of
information and communication (SIC), a discipline whose institutionalization in France by the
National Council of Universities (CNU) dates from 1975, certainly have a recent history but nevertheless
a sufficient age to claim to have contributed to the epistemological debate at the end of the 20th century
century and
entering the new millennium. Among its contributors, trained at the dawn of the 2000s and
"Pure products" of a new discipline being theoretically developed, we would like to honor the
one of them, that of Catherine De Lavergne.
