PARCOURS DIVAGANTS AUTOUR DE LA TECHNOCULTURE

Abstract

10 years ago we collaborated, Catherine De Lavergne and I, for a communication
on Technical culture, technical culture and technosciences: thinking about technique in science
information and communication presented at the Bucharest colloquium1
. We wanted to deal with
concept of technoscience - this was when the Institute of Information Technosciences was created
and Communication (ITIC) at Paul Valéry University and we wanted to reflect on this term and
its links (as good followers of the systemic) with the CI - by placing us in the line of analyzes of the
philosopher Gilbert Hottois who seems to have been the initiator of the term2
and by proposing an approach
of the more info-communicational concept. We limited this term to a fairly precise meaning, in
posing next to the possibilities of extension in the concept of technoculture
