Brésil, une économie à la croisée des chemins

Résumé

We analyze the triangle of incompatibilities: high income inequality – reprimarization of the economy – high economic growth. A trend towards economic stagnation, continued high inequality, serious environmental damage and with the inflationary recovery, a deterioration of the standard of living and a strange consequence of the crisis: the withdrawal of a part of the population from the labor market. How is it that this concerns above all the least well-off and even poor categories? The purpose of this article is to analyze the economic mechanisms that lead to these difficulties.
