Architectural heritage; a forgotten role in secondary education in Costa Rica

Abstract

Currently, architectural heritage in Costa Rica is in crisis. The aesthetic chaos of the city is a product of constant demolitions and the construction
of massive buildings out of context. Unfortunately, this problem seems to be increasing, in a gloomy scenario, surrounded by a lack of implementation
of policies to protect the architectural heritage in the country.
