Abstract

The concept of human dignity refers to the nobility
and inviolability of what is necessary in order to enjoy
material life but also spiritual life. This includes human
life, dignity and personal dignity. Rights to social security
or rights to social protection constitute requirements
for which citizens expect the State to establish, through
laws, the basic conditions of this existence. In China,
rights to social security are human rights and citizen
rights. This article supports the point of view that with
the rapid development of the economy and society,
rights in the area of social security in China should be
extended to protect personal dignity beyond what makes
for the dignity of life so that the Chinese might live a
decent life under the protection of these guarantees.
