Abstract

Dispensation of emergency contraception drugs is authorized to minors with anonymity and free access, without any limitation and control. This breaks numerous rules relative to health security and to Social Security and ignore recent evolutions of the pharmaceutical regulations and the health costs control. The highlighted paradoxes raise several questions relative to the one hand to the quality of the information transmitted to the young girls to protect their health and guarantee the good use of the drug, and, on the other hand, to the results on the Public Health, surprising and disappointing, in many ways.
