Abstract

The effectiveness of official pratices is based on a collective and, above all, public transmission of knowledge, official acknowledgment of training and professional exercices, and, in principle, methods of financial medical care. Popular pratices sometimes lead the way in the search for new treatments and official medicine is, sometimes, inspired by the popular pharmacopoeia.
