Abstract

FIVA (Fonds d’Indemnisation des Victimes de
l’Amiante) gives compensation to all the victims of asbestos in the French territory presenting objective signs of
exposure.
Only FIVA and physicians appointed by judges look for
the link between exposure to asbestos and causes of the
pathology.
