SPECIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT DEVICE FOR FUNERAL WORKERS FOLLOWING THE PARIS ATTACKS OF NOVEMBER 13, 2015

Abstract

On November 13, 2015, Paris was touched in the heart
by the deadliest attacks in its history. The professionals of
Services Funéraires Ville de Paris are among the first responders in managing this event to the inaugural violence
in the research and preservation of deads bodies, transfers
to the Institute of Forensic Medecine, the organization of
the funeral and the support of the bereaved families. The
question focuses we are asking here on both how to take
into account the existence of a psychological impact in these
skilled and experienced responders, and how to specifically
deal with individual and collective emotionnal experiences.
