This article aims to report on the forensic investigations
to be set up in cases of death by sharp force injury, from
documenting them to interpreting them at the time of the
removal of the body then the autopsy, according to the
nature of the wounding agent. The answers to the recurring
questions faced by the pathologist in cases of fatal assault
with a knife are also tackled.
